I Keep Seeing Medicube Everywhere — So I Looked Into Their Collagen Range

If you’ve spent any time on the skincare side of TikTok lately chances are you’ve come across Medicube. Korean skincare seems to be absolutely everywhere at the moment and Medicube is one of the brands I keep seeing pop up on my feed — particularly their very pink, very pretty collagen products.
I will say that the packaging caught my attention first, I love the vibrant pink girlyness that the whole range has. As well as the promise of the elusive glass skin that seems to be the goal of every skincare routine on TikTok right now.
As lovely as perfectly poreless, perfectly plump glass skin sounds my personal skincare aspirations aren’t quite as ambitious. I’m just aiming for skin that is hydrated, relatively clear and generally happy.
Still, after seeing these products over and over again I admit I became curious, and it turns out there are jelly creams, collagen creams, capsule creams, masks and mists — all promising variations on hydration and glow — but what is the actual difference between them?
I, naturally, did what I always do and spent far too long looking into it.
A little note before we get into it: I haven't personally tried every product featured in this post. I've researched the range using information provided by Medicube to make the differences between the products a little easier to understand. Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream
This is probably the product that first comes to mind when I think of the Medicube collagen range, it has that gloriously bouncy, transparent pink jelly texture that looks almost too perfect to use.
Medicube describes the Jelly Cream as a glow-focused moisturiser designed to hydrate and help improve the appearance, increasing firmness and elasticity. The formula includes niacinamide, hydrolysed collagen and plant-derived squalane, which is said to help to prevent moisture loss.
To me, this is the product in the range that makes the most sense if your priority is a lightweight daily moisturiser with a focus on hydration and that glowy, glass-skin finish.
I'd consider this one if: you're after a lightweight moisturiser and your main goals are hydration, plumpness and glow.

Medicube PDRN Pink Collagen Gel Mask
This is the one to use for a proper spa night.
Unlike the creams which are designed to become part of your regular skincare routine, the Pink Collagen Gel Mask is more of an occasional treatment. The formula combines ingredients including PDRN, hydrolysed collagen, niacinamide and peptides, with Medicube describing it as a treatment for concerns including hydration, dullness, uneven texture and elasticity.
I can really see the appeal of this one if you're someone who enjoys turning skincare into a bit of a ritual — especially as a treat after a long day or simply whenever your skin is feeling particularly dull and in need of some attention.
I'd consider this one if: you already have a moisturiser you love but want a deeply hydrating treatment to add to your routine.

Medicube Triple Collagen Cream
This is where things start to get a little confusing because you might reasonably be wondering: didn't we just talk about a collagen cream?
The main difference appears to be in the texture and purpose, while the Jelly Cream has a lightweight, bouncy texture, Medicube describes the Triple Collagen Cream as a richer moisturising option with a greater focus on supporting the skin barrier.
It’s formula includes collagen alongside niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and nourishing ingredients including shea butter, Medicube recommends using it as the final step in your skincare routine. Personally, if my main concern was dry skin or I wanted something to improve my skin barrier this is probably the one I'd go for over the Jelly Cream.
I'd consider this one if: your skin tends to lean towards dry and you're looking for something nourishing to help with that.

Medicube PDRN Pink Collagen Glow Jelly Mist Serum
I love the concept of this one because it's essentially a serum-meets-face-mist.
Medicube designed the Pink Collagen Glow Jelly Mist Serum to be applied differently depending on how far you hold the bottle from your face — either as a more concentrated serum-like spray or as a finer mist.
This feels like the most "extra" product on the list, but I absolutely don't mean that as a bad thing. If you already have the basics of your skincare routine sorted and love a dewy finish I can see this being a lovely addition for an extra boost of hydration and glow. It also seems particularly appealing if you're someone whose skin starts feeling a little dry throughout the day.
I'd consider this one if: you love a dewy finish, enjoy facial mists or want something you can use for a hydration top up later in the day.

Medicube PDRN Pink Collagen Capsule Cream
Possibly the prettiest of the lot — which is saying something.
The Pink Collagen Capsule Cream contains two different textures: little pink capsules and the transparent gel they’re suspended in. The pink capsules are designed to keep the PDRN protected until application, releasing it as you mix the cream before applying it to your skin, according to Medicube this helps preserve the ingredients and deliver maximum hydration.
The formula includes ingredients such as PDRN, collagen, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, making this another option focused on hydration and that plump, glowing appearance associated with the glass-skin trend.
I'll admit that I was initially drawn in by how pretty this cream looks, but after researching it the capsule technology is what stands out to me. It's an interesting concept that sets it apart from a traditional moisturiser, while still maintaining the focus on hydration, strengthening the skin barrier and achieving a healthy, glowing complexion.
I'd consider this one if: you're interested in trying Medicube's capsule technology or you're looking for a rich moisturiser that's designed to support hydrated, plump-looking skin.

So, which one would I choose?
After looking into all five I don't think you need the entire range — and honestly, there's quite a bit of overlap between them. If I were choosing I'd think about what was actually missing from my existing skincare routine rather than buying everything just because it's pretty and pink. As tempting as that may be.
For a lightweight everyday moisturiser, I'd consider the Collagen Niacinamide Jelly Cream.
For something richer and more nourishing, I'd consider the Triple Collagen Cream.
For an occasional skincare treatment, I'd choose the Pink Collagen Gel Mask.
For an extra hydration top up, I'd look to Pink Collagen Glow Jelly Mist Serum.
And if the idea of Medicube's capsule technology has caught your interest, I'd definitely look into the Pink Collagen Capsule Cream.
Personally, I think I'd be most tempted by the Jelly Cream. My skincare goals really aren't about achieving impossibly perfect skin — I'd just like my skin to feel hydrated, look healthy and behave itself most of the time. The lightweight jelly texture sounds lovely, and hey if I end up with glass skin I'm certainly not going to complain.
The fact that it's a vibrant pink is, of course, entirely unrelated to my decision.
